Cats are small, furry and semi-domesticable animals. They can be kept inside or outside the house, and it is not uncommon for cats to go away for hours maybe days and then returning home as they are much more independent than dogs. In the past years, the number of cat pets overcomes their main rival which is dogs. This phenomenon is mainly explained by the fact that cats have fewer needs than dogs.
They shower themselves, they do not need to be walked around the block or park, and since they naturally know how to rationalize their food, they can be left for days alone and they will self-manage their food. There are also automatic food dispensers which will release a specific amount when scheduled to do so.(Usually every four or six hours).
